An tOrd Gnó - Order of Business Dail Éireann — 2026-09-29 ============================================================ Grace Boland (FG), Dublin Fingal West Ten women have now died violently in Ireland this year. That is ten women whose families, friends and communities have been left devastated. Under the Minister, Deputy McEntee, there was real momentum in tackling the scourge of domestic, sexual and gender-based violence with the zero tolerance strategy and the establishment of Cuan. We cannot allow that urgency to diminish. We need to accelerate delivery with more refuge spaces, stronger supports for victims, investment in prevention and education and a relentless focus across Government on tackling domestic, sexual and gender-based violence. That is why tomorrow I will support the walkout for women led by Monica Murphy. It is a national call for solidarity. Will the Taoiseach commit to renewed urgency across Government and ensure that every Minister treats this with the urgency it deserves? Will he and his Ministers join us for the walkout tomorrow at 11 a.m? --- Source: Houses of the Oireachtas. Licensed under CC BY 4.0 (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/).
